TEC-VVV-DGT PRIVACY POLICY STATEMENT – GDPR / AVG

TEC-VVV-DGT, as the umbrella organisation of the legal entities Vereniging Voor Verkeersveiligheid vzw (VVV) and Dangerous Goods Training & Consultancy (DGT BV & vzw), attaches great importance to the protection of all student and consulting personal data within the strict framework of its activities as a training centre, including related consultancy.

 

As such, TEC-VVV-DGT respects the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) regulation n°2016/679, imposed by EU, and adheres in all cases to the applicable laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). VVV vzw and DGT BV & vzw is the controller of relevant personal data.

 

Processing of student and consulting personal data is limited to the data that are minimally necessary for the administrative purposes for which they are processed, in accordance with the applicable quality recognition, in agreement with the competent authorities responsible for the relevant recognitions. TEC-VVV-DGT has taken appropriate internal technical and organisational measures to ensure that the security of these personal data is strictly guaranteed. No personal data are passed on to external parties unless this is necessary for the purposes for which they were supplied. TEC-VVV-DGT does not retain personal data longer than is reasonably necessary pursuant to the purposes pursued and in accordance with legal provisions.

 

With regard to the protection of personal data against unlawful processing, security measures have been put in place by
TEC-VVV-DGT internally including the following measures taken & followed:

 

All persons who may learn of this data on behalf of TEC-VVV-DGT are bound to secrecy and have also been informed of applicable GDPR / AVG legislation principles.
TEC-VVV-DGT applies a username and password policy to all its IT systems.
Backups of this personal data are regularly taken via the TEC-VVV-DGT server in order to restore it in case of physical and/or technical incidents.

 

TEC-VVV-DGT reserves the right to modify the present privacy policy in order to conform to current regulations protecting private life or to bring it in line with applied business practices.
